Monja Red Grain Pork is one of the most popular dishes on our menu. It originates from a restaurant named ''Chao Chi Pork Porridge'', which is located in a district in Taiwan called ''Monja''. Chao Chi Pork Porridge is a very famous and special restaurant in Monja. It has been in business for about 80 years now. The founder has passed the ownership to his son and it is now owned by his grandson. Monja Red Grain Pork is made from marinated pork with red grain and it is different from Cantonese grilled pork. Some call it stewed pork or red yeast pork, depending on the method of preparation.
